RUFC - Head-to-Head v Macclesfield

Rotherham United entertain Macclesfield Town at Don Valley on Saturday, having beaten them at Moss Rose earlier in the season.

This is only the tenth meeting between the two teams with the Millers winning four of them. The first game the two competed in was in December 1987 in the FA Cup, when Town humiliated the Millers 4-0.

Last season the Millers came away with four points from the two league games. The first game at Moss Rose ended in a one all draw, Derek Holmes getting the first goal for the Millers and Martin Gritton scoring an equaliser in the second half. The game at Millmoor saw the Millers win three-nil, with all goals coming in the last twenty minutes - Mark Hudson got the first and Ryan Taylor scored two more.
