RUFC - Ref Watch v Gillingham




Mr Colin H Webster from Tyne & Wear

Born on 17th November 1966, Colin started refereeing in his native North East in 1988 and progressed through the Wearside and Northern Leagues to reach the National List in 1994.
He was promoted to the Referees` List in 2000. Honours include A/R FA Trophy Final in 2000, 4th Official FL Play Off Final in 2005, and refereeing appointments for Football League Play Off Semi Finals in 2005.

The last time Colin was in charge a game involving the Millers was when we played Leicester in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Rotherham were 2-0 winners that day with Drewe Broughton and Dale Tonge scoring. The only card shown that night was to City`s Jack Hobbs.

So far this season, Colin had produced 48 yellow and 3 red cards in the 27 games he has been in charge of.

The men with the flags on Saturday will be -

S Clayton from Co Durham and
G Eltringham from Tyne & Wear

The fourth official is

R Merchant from Staffordshire
