Andy began refereeing twenty-two years ago, reaching the National List of Assistant Referees in 1993. He made the Referees` list five years later and his major appointments include being Fourth Official at Carling Cup Final in 2006 and being the referee for two Football League play-off semi-finals in 2003 and 2006.

The last time Andy was in charge of a game involving the Millers was in February 2007 at Glanford Park. Scunthorpe were winners that day when Jermaine Beckford scored the only goal of the game in the seventeenth minute. That day, Andy showed yellow cards to Richie Partridge and Ian Sharps. Earlier that season, he was at Millmoor for our two-nil win over Brentford when Lee Williamson scored both goals, one from the penalty spot.

In the thirty games he has been in charge of this season, Andy Hall has shown one hundred and six yellow cards and four red cards.
