RUFC - Ref Watch v Accrington



DS McDermid from Middlesex

Danny McDermid started refereeing in Northern Ireland in 1999.. He joined the National List of Assistant Referees in 2002 and was promoted four years later to the Referee`s list. Danny says the highlight of his career so far was when he reffed his first football league game which was Peterborough v Bristol Rovers.

Danny was in charge of our game at Valley Parade in February last year when the score was 3-2 to the home side. Omar Daley, Alex Rhodes and Lee Bullock scored for City while Ryan Taylor and Chris O`Grady replied for the Millers. Mr McDermid booked two players from each side - Eddie Johnson and Willy Topp for Bradford and Marc Newsham and Ian Ross for Rotherham .
