RUFC - Ref Watch v Derby County

D WEBB from County Durham

David, who was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2008, says he got into refereeing after seeing an advert in a football match programme! David was in charge of the Millers twice last season, the first time in August in our 3-1 win at Chester - Ian Sharps put us one up in the opening minutes followed twelve minutes later by a goal from Reuben Reid. Kevin Ellison scored a goal for Chester before Alex Rhodes scored the Millers third in the twenty-seventh minute. Jamie Yates for the Millers and Chester's James Vaughan were booked. The second game he was in the middle involving the Millers was our 2-1 loss at Don Valley to Shrewsbury in April. Nick Chadwick put the Shrews one up just before half-time but Ryan Taylor got the Millers equaliser on the seventieth minute only for Ian Sharps to put through his own net six minutes later to give the Shrews all three points. Mr Webb booked Danny Harrison in this game.

Assisting Mr Webb at Don Valley will be

IA Dudley from Nottinghamshire
S Smith from County Durham

The Fourth Official will be

DI Storrie from South Yorkshire
