'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v West Brom

GK Hegley from Hertfordshire

Grant Hegley started refereeing at the age of fifteen and in 1992 was promoted to the National List of Assistant Referees and nine years later to the National List of Referees. In 1999 he was an assistant referee for the Football League Trophy at Wembley.

Grant was in the middle for two of our games in the 2007/08 season. The one at Millmoor ended in a win for the Millers against Grimsby, 2-1. Mark Hudson and Chris O`Grady scored for the home side while Nick Fenton got the Mariners goal before being sent off ten minutes later. The other game that season when Grant and the Millers met was against Wycombe at Adams Park. A David McCracken goal five minutes into the second half gave the home side all three points. Rotherham`s Adrian Pettigrew was the only booking of the day.

Running the line on Wednesday night will be

K Hayward from Staffordshire
G Hilton from Lancashire

The Fourth Official is
