RUFC - Head-to-Head v Aldershot

Rotherham United and Aldershot Town have only met nine times in the past - and four of those were last season, with the Shots coming out on top twice.

The teams met in the First Round of last season's FA Cup, the first game ending in a draw after Micky Cummins had put the Millers ahead at the EBB Stadium at the Recreation Ground, only for referee Singh to award a dubious penalty in the final minute of the game which John Grant put past Andy Warrington. The replay, at Don Valley, was easily won by the visitors, three-nil, with two goals from Kirk Hudson and one from Marvin Morgan.

In the league, Aldershot again won at Don Valley, two goals from John Grant before half-time being enough to get all three points, although Jamie Clark got a consolation for the Millers ten minutes from time. The Millers did manage to get a win over Aldershot at their ground, when a Reuben Reid goal in eleven minutes won the game.
