'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Torquay

Andy Hall from the West Midlands

This will be the first time Andy has been to Don Valley although he was in the middle for our game at Bradford at the end of last season. The Bantams beat us 3-0 with goals from Peter Thorne (2) and Steve Jones in front of over thirteen thousand fans, the majority of them, that day, pleading for Stuart McCall to stop on as manager. Andy booked Nick Fenton of the Millers and Lee Bullock of Bradford.

Andy began refereeing in 1987 at the tender age of eighteen progressing to the List of Assistant Referees in 1993 and the Referees` List a year later. He has twice been in the middle for Football League Play Off semi-finals and was Fourth Official for the 2006 Carling Cup Final.

Andy has been quite busy with the cards this season, giving out fifty three yellows and five reds in the sixteen games he's officiated in!

The men with the flags for our trip to Plainmoor are

A Bennett from Devon
M Philpott from Cornwall

The Fourth Official will be

W Bull from Hampshire
