RUFC - Head-to-Head v Torquay

Rotherham United make the long trip to Devon for their next League Two game to take on Torquay for the first time in nine years.

The Seagulls are back in the Football League after winning the Conference Play-Off Final at Wembley last season.

The last time the two teams met was in the 1999/2000 season with both teams getting three points each. The first game at Millmoor, was a won by a Trevor Berry goal in the first half of a quite uneventful game. The game at Plainmoor was a two-one win for the home side. Brian Healey scored from the penalty spot in the first fifteen minutes only for Steve Thompson to get one of his fourteen Millers' goals to take the teams in level at half-time. With less than five minutes of the second half gone Tom Stocco got, what turned out to be, the winner for the Seagulls.
