'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Lincoln City

MP Russell from Hertfordshire

Mick began refereeing in the 1990's and worked his way up through the South Midland's League, reaching the National list of Assistant Referees in 2000. He was promoted to the Referees' list four years later. Mick is also a licensed FA Coach.

This will be Mick's first visit to Don Valley. He was in the middle for our game last season at Spotland when Reuben Reid and Ryan Taylor got goals for the Millers to give them all three points while a certain Adam Le Fondre scored a consolation for Rochdale. Mick booked Reid and Rochdale's Clark Keltie that day.

This season Mick has given out forty-two yellows and two reds in the eighteen games he has been in charge of.

Helping Mick on Tuesday night will be

C Kavanagh from Lancashire and
N Smith from Derbyshire

The Fourth Official will be
C Akers from South Yorkshire
