'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Rochdale

SJ BRATT from the West Midlands

Steve began refereeing at the age of fourteen and after eight years was promoted to level 3. A year later he was promoted to level 2 and in 2006 he was moved onto the National List of Referees and in that year was the assistant referee for the FA Vase Final

This will be the second time Steve has been in charge of a Millers` game this season, the first being our game in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy at Don Valley against Huddersfield Town. That evening, two early goals from Towns` Peter Clarke and Robbie Simpson were enough to put the visitors into the next round, despite a goal from Adam Le Fondre on thirty-five minutes for the Millers. That day Steve Bratt made just one booking and that was Michael Collins of Huddersfield.

In the sixteen games, Steve has been in charge of this season, he has produced forty-seven yellow cards and three red cards.

The men with the flags are

G Hart from Co Durham and
B Khatib from Tyne and Wear

The Fourth Official will be

PC Wright from Merseyside
