RUFC - Ref Watch v Torquay

RUFC - Ref Watch v Torquay
NS Miller (very apt!)

Nigel is no stranger to Don Valley as he was in charge of our game in September against Chesterfield. The Millers went behind in the twenty-first minute to a penalty which James Lowry put past Andy Warrington. But goals from Danny Harrison, Adam Le Fondre and Kevin Ellison in the second half gave Rotherham all three points. That day he booked Marc Joseph from Rotherham and Chesterfields' Robert Page and Gregor Robertson.

Nigel, who hails from County Durham, was appointed to the National List of Assistant Referees' in 1996 and was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2003.

In the twenty-six games he has been involved in this year, Nigel has given out sixty-one yellow cards and eight red cards.

The men with the flags on Friday night will be . . .

MA Astley from Manchester and
J Whiteley from West Yorkshire

The Fourth Official will be . . .

DJH England from South Yorkshire
