'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Shrewsbury

D Foster from Newcastle

David Foster did his early refereeing in and around Newcastle and was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2006.

David was in charge of our game against Dagenham and Redbridge at Don Valley last season. The game ended one-one with Matt Ritchie scoring for the Daggers just after half-time and Ian Sharps popped up in the final minute of the game to give the Millers a point. That day, David booked Magnus Okuonghae from Dagenham.

This season, David has been in the middle for seventeen games and has given out forty-five yellow cards and two red cards - both red cards in one game for Crewe's Billy Jones and Patrick Ada in the last five minutes of their game against Bury.
