This is Steve's first season as a League Referee and says he first took a referee's course to help with his GCSE PE exam and also to earn him some pocket money.
Steve says one of the best games he has officiated in, for overall sense of achievement was the FA Youth Cup Final Manchester City v Chelsea in 2007/8.
Steve was in charge of our game, earlier this season, at the New Meadow which Shrewsbury won two-nil. That day he booked Nick Fenton and Gary Roberts from Rotherham and three Shrews players.
This season Steve has been in charge of twenty-three games and has produced sixty yellow cards and five red cards.
