RUFC - Ref Watch v Aldershot

AP D'Urso from Essex

Andy was appointed to the National List of Assistant Referees twenty years ago being promoted to the National List of Referees in 1994. In this time he has been a FIFA Referee as well as being in the middle for the FA Charity Sheild and FA Youth Cup Final.

He lists his best game as the League One Play-Off Final between Blackpool and Yeovil at the New Wembley in 2007.

The last time Andy was in charge of a game involving the Millers was in September 2005 at Millmoor. It was a League One game and Gillingham were the visitors. The Millers won three-nil with all three goals coming in the second half. The first was from Paul McLaren just after the break and then Deon Burton scored in the final ten minutes with Martin Butler making sure on ninety minutes. That day Andy showed yellow cards to Phil Gilchrist and John Mullin of Rotherham and Michael Flynn and Alan Pouton from the visitors.

This season Andy has officiated in thirty five games showing one hundred and two yellow cards but just three red cards

The men running the line on Saturday at Aldershot will be ...
