RUFC -Head-to-Head v Shots

RUFC -Head-to-Head v Shots
Rotherham United and Aldershot Town will be probably playing one of the biggest games of their lives on Wednesday night when Don Valley hosts the second leg of the League Two play-off semi finals.

The Millers bring a one-nil lead into the game, thanks to an eighty-eighth Adam Le Fondre poached goal from Saturday evening.

After hardly meeting in the last twenty years, this will be the eighth meeting in the last two seasons!

The last time out at Don Valley the game ended nil-nil with neither side creating many chances in front of just over three thousand fans. Tomorrow, I am expecting the crowd will be at least double that.

Last season, the Shots won the Don Valley game with two goals from John Grant in the first half. Jamie Clarke, who was on loan from Blackburn, scored a consolation goal for the Millers.

At the moment, Ronnie Moore's team have the upper hand - an early goal tomorrow night 'should' seal the win - here's hoping, fingers crossed, looking for lucky horseshoes and becoming friendly with black cats...
