'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Burton

RJ Booth from Nottinghamshire

Russell began refereeing in Mansfield in the mid-eighties and progressed to the National List of Assistant Referees in 1988. A year later he was in the Select Group of Assistant Referees and, in 2004, reached the National List of Referees. In recent years he has been involved in the Football League Play-Off Semi Finals and Final.

Last season, Russell was in charge of two nil-nil draws involving the Millers. Both games were at Don Valley, the first being against Aldershot in October, where he booked 'Shots` John Grant and the second against Crewe in May where Kevin Ellison received a yellow.

In January last year, Russell was the man in charge of our game at Blundell Park when Grimsby beat the Millers three-nil - Andy Nicholas and Ian Sharps saw yellow that day - which was the game that ended the Millers` five match unbeaten league run.

Running the line on Wednesday will be...

DP Plowright from Nottinghamshire
W Porter from Lincolnshire

The Fourth Official will be...

AI Dudley from Nottinghamshire
