RUFC - Head-to-Head v Macclesfield
Rotherham United entertain Macclesfield Town on Tuesday night at Don Valley which will be the thirteenth meeting between the two sides.
This same fixture last season saw the Millers come out three-one winners. Danny Harrison put them ahead in the twelfth minute but Ben Wright equalised twelve minutes later. A penalty from Adam Le Fondre on eighty-one minutes followed two minutes later by a Drewe Broughton goal gave the Millers a well deserved victory.
The last time that Macclesfield beat the Millers on home turf was at Millmoor in the Football League Trophy in 2005. Paul Evans had given the Millers the lead on twenty-five minutes but goals from Jonathan Parkin and Kevin Sandwith won the game for the Silkmen.
