'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Oxford

D DRYSDALE from Lincolnshire

Darren started Refereeing in 1988 and progressed through the Northern Alliance and the Northern Premier League joining the Football List of Assistant Referees in 1996. Two years later he joined the Premier League list and in 2004 became a Football League Referee.

Darren has been in charge of a few Millers games over the years, the last one being in February 2008 at Don Valley when Rochdale were the visitors. Rochdale went in front just before half time when Jordan Rhodes scored and then on fifty-one minutes Will Buckley doubled their lead. Lee Thorpe came on for Adam Le Fondre, who was then playing for Rochdale, but only lasted two minutes when a two footed challenge on Ian Sharps saw Darren Drysdale send him for an early bath. An own goal by Rory McArdle on seventy-seven minutes gave the Millers and lifeline and then Reuben Reid popped up in injury time to get the Millers a point from the game.

This season Darren has been in charge of just four games and given out nine yellow cards

The men running the lines will be …

KDG Lawson from South Humberside
SAJ Duncan from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

The Fourth Official will be

R Wootton from the West Riding
