RUFC - Head-to-Head v York City

Rotherham United travel to Bootham Crescent on Wednesday evening for the replay of the first round of the FA Cup after the teams couldn't be separated at Don Valley in the first game, drawing nil-nil.

Including replays, this will be the ninth time the sides have met in the FA Cup with the Millers never having lost to the, now, Blue Square Premier side. The teams have drawn five times and the last replay was in November 1994 at Millmoor in front of 4, 391 spectators, which the Millers won three-nil with goals coming from Bobby Davison and Sean Goater. Actually, the first goal Davison scored was, at the time, the second fastest in FA Cup history and was scored in under ten seconds. Unfortunately, if you look through the FA records they seem to have overlooked this fact.
