RUFC - Head-to-Head v Aldershot

Rotherham United entertain Aldershot on Saturday, at Don Valley (weather permitting) and the Shots are no strangers to Millers fans, after playing them eight times in the last two seasons!

Last season the Millers got just one point from their meetings in the League - drawing nil-nil at Don Valley and losing miserably, three-nil at the Recreation Ground, now known as the EBB Stadium. Dean Morgan got two goals that day and the third one was scored by Dean Howell.
The teams then met in the League Two Play-Off, playing the away leg on Cup Final Day with a 6pm kick-off with Adam Le Fondre getting the only goal of the game two minutes from time. For the second leg at Don Valley the fans turned out in force and the party atmosphere in the fans spilled over onto the pitch with Le Fondre and Kevin Ellison getting the goals in a two-nil win.

The season before, in the league, the points were evened out with the Shot winning two-one at Don Valley - John Grant getting both their goals while Jamie Clarke, on loan from Blackburn Rovers, got a consolation for the Millers. A Reuben Reid goal on eleven minutes gave the Millers all three points a few weeks later at the Recreation Ground.
