RUFC - Head-to-Head v Torquay



Rotherham United make the long journey to Torquay on Saturday, hoping to emulate last season, and come away with all three points.

The Millers won two-nil at Plainmoor last season, with both goals coming in the final five minutes, the first from Kevin Ellison and Adam Le Fondre sealed the win in the final minute of the game. This was Rotherham`s third away win on the trot and put them moving them up into fourth place.

Before last season, the last time the Millers had won at Plainmoor was in April 1998. Jason White gave the Millers a one-nil lead at half-time, scoring just after the half-hour mark and, five minutes after the break, Andy Roscoe doubled the lead. Anthony Bedeau got a consolation goal on sixty-seven minutes for the home side.
The crowd that day was 3,963 and referee, Andy D`Urso booked Chris Leadbitter of Torquay and Millers Trevor Berry and Darren Garner.
