This is the second time that David has been in charge of a Millers game this season, the first being the first round Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Lincoln at the start of the season. Adam Le Fondre scored the winner just after half-time that night and David booked Luke Ashworth from Rotherham and Moses Swaibu of Lincoln.

This is David's first season on the National List of Referees and he has been in charge of ten games giving out thirty-one yellow cards and no reds.
