RUFC - Head-to-Head v Wycombe
Rotherham United travel to Wycombe on Saturday in the hopes of getting three points there for only the second time.

The last time these two met at Adams Park was in February 2009 when the game ended without a goal and the time before that a David McCracken goal five minutes after half-time was enough to give Wycombe the win.

The only time the Millers have won at Adams Park was in March 2001, although the stadium was called the Causeway Stadium in those days and it was played in a series of snow storms, wind and a floodlight failure! That day an Alan Lee goal on eighty-three minutes gave the Millers all three points. Lee, who had come off the bench on sixty-six minutes to replace Richie Barker, got a good ball from Paul Warne and slotted the ball in the net to send the travelling fans home happy.

The referee Lee Cable showed just one yellow card and that was to the Millers Marvyn Bryan. The gate was 5,254.

The teams met earlier this season at Don Valley where Wycombe took all three points. Kevin Betsy scored for Wycombe on eight minutes with Matt Bloomfield doubling the lead nine minutes later. Adam Le Fondre pulled one back for the Millers five minutes later and Ryan Taylor equalised on forty minutes. With Luke Ashworth off the field with a head injury, Ben Strevens scored a cracking strike to make it three-two to the visitors going in at half-time. On sixty-nine minutes Chris Westwood climbed all over Exodus Geohaghon in the penalty area and Le Fondre scored the equaliser from the penalty spot. Fifteen minutes later, referee, Peter Quinn, equalled up the penalties when he said that Johnny Mullins upended Betsy and after a long discussion with the linesman Mr Quinn still chose to give the spot kick which Scott Rendell took and scored.
