RUFC - Ref Watch v Crewe

Dave Foster from Newcastle

Dave, who did his early refereeing in and around the Newcastle area, was promoted to the National List of Referees five years ago.

He was last in charge of the Millers last February, in the one-one draw with Shrewsbury at Don Valley. After doubts that the game would go ahead, due to snow, Adam Le Fondre put the Millers in front from the penalty spot on twelve minutes with Steven Leslie getting the equaliser on the stoke of half-time. That day, Dave booked Cansdell-Sherriff and Graham Coughlan of Shrewsbury.

This season, in the fourteen games he has been in charge of, Dave has shown thirty-nine yellow cards.

Running the line today will be

S Clayton from County Durham
R Joyce from Cleveland

The fourth official will be

RL Johnson from Manchester
