RUFC - Head-to-Head v The Gills

RUFC - Head-to-Head v The Gills
Rotherham United travel to Kent today for this evening`s re-arranged game at the Priestfield Stadium where they take on Gillingham.

This will be the Millers first visit to the Priestfield since November 2008 when the Gills were easy winners, four-nil. Simon King opened the scoring on six minutes and, when it looked like the Millers were getting back into the game, a reckless two-footed challenge by Danny Harrison on Barry Fuller, saw the defender get a straight red card on thirty-five minutes. Gillingham added a second goal on fifty-eight minutes when Mark McCammon was one on one with Andy Warrington with the Millers shot stopper getting down well to smother but it bounced out to Adam Miller who tapped it into the empty net. Garry Richards and Luis Cumbers added two more goals to make the Millers misery complete.

The last time the Millers won at Priestfield was way back in May 1988 when goals from Paul Haycock and Clive Mendonca won the game without reply.
