RUFC - Head-to-Head v Accrington

Rotherham United entertain Accrington Stanley at Don Valley on Tuesday night with the Millers wanting to get back to winning ways.

This will be the fiftieth league meeting between the sides with the Millers having won twenty-five times.

The last time the two met at Don Valley was in August 2009 when a late goal from Paul Warne gave the Millers all three points.

Twice in the past the Millers have scored six against Stanley - once on Christmas Eve in 1949 when Ken Bower (3), Jack Grainger, Jack Shaw and James Rudd scored for the Millers with no reply from Stanley and then in February 1951 when the score was six-two with Jack Shaw (3), Jack Grainger (2) and Nobby Noble scoring for the Millers.

The last time that Accrington beat the Millers at home was at Millmoor three years ago when an unstoppable left foot shot from Ian Craney in the sixty-fourth minute was enough to see off the Millers and left then Manager, Mark Robins 'livid' after his side were booed off at the end of the game.
