RUFC - Head-to-Head v Burton

Rotherham United travel to Burton on Saturday for the second time this season.

The first time was in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game which ended in a win for the Millers. Mark Bradley scored his first ever goal for Rotherham on sixty-five minutes followed by a Kevin Ellison penalty fourteen minutes later. Burton's Richard Walker made it an interesting end to the game when he halved the Millers lead on the eighty-third minute.

In fact, the Millers haven't lost at the Pirelli Stadium winning one-nil last season with an Adam Le Fondre goal on fifty-two minutes.

Burton Albion were founded in 1950 and moved to the Pirelli Stadium in 2005.

The Brewers took their place in the football league in 2009 althoiugh when, in February 2009, Albion were top of the Conference table by a clear nineteen points and Blue Square declared them the Champions and paid out on all bets. After that the club saw their lead reduced each week and it was the final game of the season, when Cambridge United could only draw with Altrincham that saw the Brewers go up despite losing to Torquay!
