RUFC - Ref Watch v The Imps

RUFC - Ref Watch v The Imps
MP Russell from Hertfordshire

Gaining Football League Assistant status in 2003, Mike was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2008.

Mike was in charge of two of our games last season both at Don Valley. The first was against Friday`s opponents, Lincoln City where two goals from Adam Le Fondre, one in each half, saw the Imps off that evening. The second was against Bury when a Josh Walker goal on eighty minutes gave the Millers all three points.

In March 2009, Mike was in charge of our game at Spotland. After a goalless first half, it took Reuben Reid just five minutes into the second half to put the Millers ahead. Ryan Taylor doubled that lead on seventy-one minutes and a certain Adam Le Fondre pulled one back for Rochdale four minutes later to make it an interesting end to the game.
