'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Cheltenham

IG Williamson from Berkshire

Iain progressed through the Ryman League and was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2002 and in the same year he was an assistant referee in the LDV Trophy area final. Two years later he was fourth official in the divisional play-offs.

The last time Iain was in charge of a Millers match was at Field Mill in April 2008. A stunning goal from Jamie Yates on seventy-one minutes was enough to give the Millers all three points. Earlier in the season Iain was at Millmoor in the middle for our game against Rochdale. After fifteen minutes the score was two-two after Gary Jones and Adam Le Fondre had put the visitors two up I seven minutes with Ian Sharps and Derek Holmes equalised for the Millers. Minutes into the second half Glenn Murray put 'Dale back in front and in the final minute of the game Lee McEvilly made it four-two to the visitors.
