'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Accrington Stanley

David Webb from County Durham

David was promoted to the National List of Referees three years ago which he says is the highlight of his career so far.

Last season David was in charge of our first visit to the Globe Arena Stadium at Morecambe. The game ended nil-nil and the only thing he had to do that day was book the Shrimps' Paul Scott.

The first time David was in charge of a Millers game was in August 2008 at Don Valley when Chester City were the visitors. Ian Sharps and Reuben Reid put the Millers two up with a certain Kevin Ellison pulling one back for the Blues. On the twenty-seventh minute Alex Rhodes made it three-one to give the Millers all three points. Booked that day was the Millers' Jamie Yates and City's James Vaughan.

This season in the seven games David has been in the middle for, he has shown twenty-three yellow and one red card.

Running the line on Tuesday night will be …

D Handley from Lancashire
and
T Harrington from Cleveland

The Fourth Official will be …

A Scregg from Liverpool
