RUFC - Ref Watch v Port Vale

Paul Tierney from Lancashire

This is Paul's third season as a Football League Referee and the second time he has been in the middle for one of our games this season, that being our two-one win over Crewe at the Alexandria Stadium. Adam Le Fondre scored on fifteen minutes with Ben Pringle getting the second on seventy-two minutes. Byron Moore got a consolation goal for the Alex. Lee Bell of Crewe and Ryan Cresswell of the Millers saw yellow cards in that game.

This season Paul has been in charge of eight games and shown twenty-four (gulp) yellow cards and four red cards.
