RUFC - Head-to-Head v Bradford
Rotherham United and Bradford City meet in this South v West Yorkshire game at Valley Parade this weekend.

The teams have met sixty-four times in the league in the past the Millers having had twenty-nine wins against the Bantams twenty-four.

Last time the two teams met at Valley Parade was on a very wet and cold evening in March when Lewis Hunt scored on sixteen minutes to give the home side the lead. Marcus Marshall equalised seven minutes before half-time and when it looked like the game would be a draw, Tom Adeyemi scored a controversial last minute goal for City. Adeyemi, smashed a shot in from twenty-five yards out which smashed the crossbar and bounced down and away. The referee, who was quite close to the action, seemed to be carrying on with play until the linesman put up his flag, which everyone in the ground thought was for off-side, only to find out that the Bantams had been awarded a goal. With City players going over to the Bradford bench to celebrate, the Millers players surrounded the linesman and referee and the game was held up for nearly three minutes.

The Millers last win at Valley Parade was in December 2009. Lee Bullock gave City the lead on nineteen minutes but Kevin Ellison scored two goals for the Millers to give them the lead going into half-time. A minute into the second half, Michael Flynn got the equaliser for the Bantams but a super goal from Gary Roberts on seventy-eight minutes gave the visitors the lead again - the Millers were awarded a free-kick which Roberts, seeing Simon Eastwood off his line, took quickly from inside his own half and lobbed the 'keeper to score his first goal for the Millers. With two minutes to go, Drewe Broughton made sure by scoring another to make it four-two to the Millers.
