RUFC - Ref Watch v The Bulls

Christopher Sarginson from Staffordshire

Christopher was appointed to the National League of Referees in 2008 and his first ever league game was on 16 August that year which saw the Millers travel to Morecambe. Mark Lynch gave the Millers a nine minute lead with Ryan Taylor doubling that five minutes before half-time. Neil Wainwright of Morecambe pulled one back for the home side on seventy-seven minutes but Mark Lynch made sure of a Millers victory in the final minute of the game which gave the Millers minus eleven points in the league. That day, Christopher booked Lynch and Reuben Reid of the Millers.

This will be Christopher's second time in charge of the Millers this season - the first being in the one-all draw with Shrewsbury at Don Valley in October. Lewis Grabban opened the scoring that day but Shane Cansdell-Sherriff equalised in the last minute of the first half. Christopher booked two players that day, both from the Shrews.

Christopher was also in charge of our three-one win at Macclesfield in August 2009 when Adam Le Fondre and Tom Pope put the Millers two up but Matthew Tipton got one back on the stroke of half-time. Three minutes before the end of the game Danny Harrison scored to make sure of all three points for the visitors.
