Scott Mathieson from Cheshire

Scott's early years of refeering were spent in and around the Stockport and the Cheshire League. He has been on the National Referees' List since 1994 having spent the four years before that on the National List of Assistant Referees. In 2001 he officiated in the Football League Cup Final.

Scott was in charge of our game at Don Valley last season against Southend where Ryan Hall opened the scoring for the visitors in the first minute of the game followed by a goal from Blair Sturrock twelve minutes later to make it two-nil. Nick Fenton scored a consolation for the Millers just after the hour mark.

The season before he was in charge of our game at Saltergate when a goal from Tom Pope in the last minute of the game gave the Millers all three points.

That day Gary Roberts and Tom Pope of the Millers were booked and Dan Gray of Chesterfield.

So far this season, Scott has shown fifty-three yellow cards and two red cards in the twenty-two games he has been in charge of.
