RUFC - Ref Watch v Southend

Iain Williamson from Berkshire

Iain progressed through the Ryman League and was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2002 and in the same year he was an assistant referee in the LDV Trophy area final. Two years later he was fourth official in the divisional play-offs.

Iain was in charge of our game last season at Whaddon Road where Jason Taylor put the Millers in front on eleven minutes. Unfortunately for the Millers Andy Gallinagh equalised for Cheltenham just after the hour mark. That day Iain booked Tom Newey, Nick Fenton and Jason Taylor of the Millers. After the game there were a few disgruntled Millers having a moan about Mr Williamson and his officials after they missed a clear handball in the penalty area plus other incidents.

This season Iain has been in charge of twenty-one games and has shown sixty-four yellow cards and two red cards.
Running the line on Friday night at Roots Hall will be

David Margetts from Essex
and
Ashley Slaughter from Sussex

The Fourth Official will be

Adam Crysell from Essex
