RUFC - Head-to-Head v Burton



Rotherham United travel to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday to take on Burton Albion for only the sixth league meeting between the two sides.

The first time the sides met at the Pirelli was in February 2010 when an Adam Le Fondre goal seven minutes into the second half was enough to give the Millers all three points.

Referee Stroud booked Steve Kabba of Burton and Ian Sharps and Josh Walker of the Millers

Last season the game between the two sides saw six goals. Greg Pearson opened the scoring on two minutes for Burton but Johnny Mullins equalised four minutes later. Aaron Webster put the home side back in the lead ten minutes from half-time. In the last fifteen minutes of the game Marcus Marshall, Adam Le Fondre and Jason Taylor scored to give the Millers a four-two victory.

The game at Don Valley, earlier this season, ended with a one-nil victory to the Brewers after Justin Richards scored on eight minutes.
