'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Plymouth

Carl Berry from Surrey

This will be Carl's first time as a referee at Don Valley as this is his first season as a Football League Referee.

Not the most popular amongst managers, our friend Paolo Di Canio, fumed after he had taken charge of Swindon's game with Dagenham and Redbridge, 'Don't ask me anything about the referee because otherwise I'll go to prison for one year.' Terry Skiverton at Yeovil had this to say after Carl had been in the middle for their game against Carlisle, 'The referee made some pretty outrageous decisions that cost us but I`ve got to talk within the rules to make sure I don`t get into trouble.' Sounds like he's about norm for League Two then.

This season Carl has been in charge of twenty games giving out sixty yellow cards and four red.

Running the line at Don Valley will be
Jason Tyas from West Yorkshire
and
Ricky Wootton from the West Riding

The Fourth Official will be
Mark Griffiths from South Yorkshire
