'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Torquay

Gary Sutton from Lincolnshire

Gary was last in charge of a Millers game in October last year when Sheffield United were at Don Valley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The Blades beat the Millers with almost the last kick of the game after going in front on nine minutes from a Chris Porter goal. Alex Revell got an equaliser for the Millers on sixty-nine minutes but Ched Evans won the game for the Blades right at the end.

In his first season he was in charge of our game at Millmoor against Yeovil. Deon Burton put the Millers in front on eighteen minutes but an own goal from Colin Murdock just after the half-hour mark got Yeovil back into the game. Unfortunately for the Millers just four minutes later Matt Harrold was allowed too much freedom and got the visitors' winner.

Just eighteen days later, on Boxing Day, Gary was again in the middle for our game at Ashton Gate. Steve Brooker gave the Robins an eleventh minute lead but Colin Murdock, this time putting in his own net, equalised fifteen minutes later. Three minutes after the break Scott Murray gave the home side the lead again and Brooker scored his second and City's third to give them a three-one win on seventy-seven minutes.

Last season, Gary was in charge of our only game in December which was at Don Valley against Aldershot when an Adam Le Fondre goal on forty minutes was enough to give the Millers all three points. Aldershot's Jamie Vincent was sent off two minutes from full-time for his second yellow after upending Marcus Marshall on the edge of the box.

This season, Gary has been in charge of twenty-eight games and shown eighty-four yellow cards and eight red cards

Running the line at Don Valley on Tuesday night will be

Tony Harrington of Cleveland
and
Stephen Martin of Staffordshire

The Fourth Official will be

Jason Whiteley of West Yorkshire
