RUFC - Head-to-Head v Burton

Rotherham United's first league opponents at the New York Stadium are Burton Albion and this will be the first time the Brewers have played a league game in Rotherham.

The Millers and Brewers have met just six times in the League, the first time being at Don Valley in December 2009. Adam Le Fondre put the Millers two up on thirty-nine and sixty-three minutes and Aaron Webster made it two-one on sixty-five minutes. Six minutes later Nick Fenton had a 'brain-storm' when he lunged at Webster on the half-way round and there were few complaints when Referee Hooper sent him for an early bath. The visitors took the one man advantage and five minutes from time Greg Pearson got the equaliser to give Burton a point.
