RUFC - Head-to-Head v The Cobblers

Rotherham United's first away league game of the new season is against Northampton Town.

The Millers and Cobblers have met thirty-two times in the League in the past and the last time at Sixfields saw both sides go away with a point. Gareth Evans gave the Millers a great start with a goal on two minutes only for a blooper from Millers' 'keeper, Conrad Logan, where the ball seemed to spin out of his hands, gave the home side an own goal and a point.

The last time the Millers won at Sixfields was in October 2000 where, for seventy-five minutes of the game they played with ten men, after Guy Branston got a second yellow card on fifteen minutes. Stuart Talbot got the only goal of the game on the half-hour mark.
