'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Oxford

Graham Salisbury from Lancashire

Graham started refereeing in 1985 progressing through the West Lancashire and Northern Premier Leagues to reach National List status thirteen years later being promoted to the Referees' List in 2001.

He was last in charge of the Millers in September last year when Southend came to Don Valley and beat us four-nil while the season before he was in the middle for our three-all draw at Don Valley again against Burton Albion. The last time Graham was in charge of a Millers win was on New Years Day 2011. Nicky Law opened the scoring at Don Valley for the Millers on ten minutes against Port Vale with Ryan Taylor making it two-nil eight minutes later. A bad challenge on Marcus Marshall saw Vale's Stuart Tomlinson see red just after the half-hour mark and the Millers' Will Atkinson made it three-nil a minute after the break. Ryan Taylor got his second of the day and a goal from Mark Bradley on eighty-five minutes gave the Millers a five-nil victory and a great start to 2011.

Graham has been in charge of seven games this season and he has shown thirty one yellow cards (gulp) and, in his last two games, has given out three red cards!

Running the line at the New York Stadium on Saturday will be

Robert Atkin from Lincolnshire
and
Matt McGrath from East Yorkshire

The Fourth Official will be

Paul Cook from East Yorkshire
