'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RFC - Ref Watch v Accrington

CHRISTOPHER SARGINSON from Staffordshire

Chris has been on the National List of Referee since 2008 with his first game being Morecambe v Rotherham in the August at Christie Park. Mark Lynch and Ryan Taylor put the Millers two-up before half-time with Neil Wainwright halving the deficit for the Shrimps on seventy-seven minutes. A second goal from Lynch on the stroke of full-time gave the Millers all three points.

Chris has been in the middle for a few more Millers games including the six-nil win over Lincoln in March 2011 when Ian Thomas-Moore score a hat-trick in the first game after his father had been sacked as Rotherham Manager. The last time Chris was in charge of a Millers game was last season at Don Valley when a clumsy challenge from Jason Taylor on Byron Moore resulted in a penalty which Harry Davis put away on sixteen minutes but an equaliser on sixty-two minutes from Lewis Grabban gave the Millers a point.

Chris has been in the middle for seven games so far this season and has shown twenty yellow cards and two reds

Running the line on Tuesday night will be

Mark Astley from Manchester
and
Geoffrey Liddle from County Durham

The Fourth Official will be

Ben Toner from Lancashire
