'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Bristol Rovers

David Webb from County Durham

David was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2008 and he has previously been in the middle for eight games involving the Millers the last time being in October at Bootham Crescent. The game ended nil-nil with David booking four players - Jack Challinor of York and The Millers' Nicky Hunt, Craig Morgan and Kari Arnason.

The first time David was in charge of a Millers game was his second League game of his career. Chester City were the visitors at Don Valley and with the Millers needing as many points as possible to get to nil, after starting on minus points, it was Ian Sharps who opened the scoring on just two minutes. Reuben Reid made it two-nil on fourteen minutes but they were pegged back to two-one four minutes later when Kevin Ellison, then with City, pulled one back for the Blues. On twenty-seven minutes Alex Rhodes made it three-one and that's how it stopped and brought the Millers to minus-eight points.

This season David has been in charge of twenty-one games showing sixty-three yellow cards and two red cards.

Running the line on Saturday at New York will be
Michael Denton from Lancashire
and
Geoffrey Liddle from County Durham

The Fourth Official will be ..
David Benton from South Yorkshire
