'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v The Robins

Darren Deadman from Cheshunt

Darren started his refereeing career in the Ishmian League and Panel Leagues after getting injured while playing semi-professional football. He joined the National List of Assistant Referees in 2000 and five years later he was promoted to the Referee's list.

This will be the second time Darren has been in charge of a Millers game this season, the first being the three-nil win over Notts County in the FA Cup replay at Meadow Lane. That day he showed yellow cards to Kari Arnason, Michael O'Connor and Lee Frecklington of the Millers and Alan Judge of County and also showed a red card on the half hour mark to Jordan Stewart from the home side.

The last time Darren was in charge of a Millers League game was at Don Valley in September 2009. The visitors were Morecambe and the game ended goalless with Kevin Ellison of Rotherham and Morecambe' Jim Bentley seeing yellow cards.

This season Darren has been in the middle for twenty-nine games and has shown ninety-seven yellow cards and four red cards.

Running the line on Saturday will be …
Alexandra Ihringova from Shropshire
and
Gavin Muge from Bedfordshire

The Fourth Official will be …
David Rock from Hertfordshire
