RUFC - Head-to-Head v Birmingham
Rotherham United welcome Birmingham City to the New York Stadium for this Good Friday game which will be the thirty-second league game between the two sides.

This game last season was Neil Warnock's first game in charge of the Millers which saw them end the game with nine men after Richard Wood was dismissed for fouling Clayton Donaldson and Joe Mattock saw red for time-wasting at a throw-in. The game ended goalless.

The season before at the New York Stadium a Clayton Donaldson goal on sixty-two minutes was enough to give the visitors all three points which sent the Millers into the bottom three of the Championship. It was a poor performance from the boys in red with then Manager Steve Evans saying 'some of the players will be disgusted with their performance today.' Emmanuel Ledesma made his debut after coming on loan from Middlesbrough coming off the bench for the second half. Kari Arnason and Jonson Clarke-Harris saw yellow that afternoon for Rotherham with David Cotterill getting the same for the Blues.

In April 2002 Birmingham were at Millmoor with Darren Garner putting the hosts in front on thirty-six minutes but two minutes later Martin Grainger equalised. Fourteen minutes into the second half Martin McIntosh put the Millers back in front but with twenty minutes to go an own goal from Chris Beech gave City a point to take home. Mark Clattenburg was the referee that day and the only card of the day was a yellow to the visitors' Damien Johnson.

The game at St Andrews in October saw six goals. Michael Morrison put the hosts ahead on the quarter of an hour mark with Danny Ward equalising fifteen minutes later. Lukas Jutkiewicz and Jacques Maghoma made it three-one to City before half-time. Jon Taylor got the Millers back into it on fifty-six minutes but a debatable penalty when Che Adams fell to the floor after a challenge from Goalkeeper Lee Camp saw David Cotterill make it four-two to Birmingham.
